Tomato Bhorta

I thought Bhorta is sambal in Indonesia language. Because when I made Indonesia sambal, my hubby said bhorta too. So, my conclusion Bhorta is Sambal. My post now is simple bhorta with tomato. When summer, we eat it, because hot weather and taste of  tomato bhorta is sour, spicy. So yummy. Simple ingredients.


Ingredients :
  • 2 - 3 big size tomatoes, grilled until you can peel them.
  • 1/2 onion, roughly chopped.
  • 7 - 10 green cayenne chilies, grilled.
  • Coriander leaves, finely chopped.
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp salt.
  • 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil.
Instruction :
  1. Grilled chilies until little bit burn. 
  2. Grilled tomatoes with grilling pan until you can peel them.
  3. While waiting for tomatoes, you can chopped onion.
  4. Mashed onion and chilies, until soft and little smooth.
  5. When tomatoes are ready, mashed with onion until smooth.
  6. Give salt, olive oil and coriander leaves, stir until combine evenly.
  7. Transfer to serving bowl. Ready to be served as side dish.
