Chicken Kurma


Chicken Kurma is Bangladesh dish. Cook with some spices and yogurt plain and milk. So creamy and savory. Similiar with Opor ayam (Indonesia Food). Different only with coconut milk and yogurt, milk.






Ingredients :
  • 500 gr chicken, cut, washed and drained.
  • 1 medium size onion, roughly chopped.
  • 1 tbsp garlic and ginger paste.
  • 6 green cayenne chilies (you can reduce them if you don't like spicy).
  • 1 tsp ground coriander.
  • 1 tsp ground cumin.
  • 1/2 sdt garam masala.
  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt.
  • 300 ml fresh milk.
  • 1 tsp salt.
  • 2 bay leaves.
  • 4 cm cinnamon.
  • 6 cloves.
  • 5 cardamoms.
  • 1 medium size tomato, roughly chopped.
  • Oil for sauteing.
Instruction :
  1. Preheat oil, saute onion, garlic and ginger paste, green cayenne chilies until fragrant.
  2. Add coriander, cumin, garam masala, salt, bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves and cardamoms. Saute until fragrant.
  3. Add tomato, stir until melt.
  4. Add chichken and stir until combine evenly with spices. Add yogurt and fresh milk. stir until combine evenly.
  5. Cook until mature and stirring occasionally.
  6. Transfer to serving plate, sprinkle with coriander leaves.
  7. Ready to be served as side dish.
